Data Deletion

This page covers deletion of:

• Your Sociale Strategist account
• Uploaded content and brand assets
• Connected social platform data
• Client workspace information where the requester has the necessary authority
• Other eligible personal information

Identity or account ownership may need to be verified before a deletion request is completed.

To request deletion of your account and stored information:

• Email melanie@socialemediacreators.com
• Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
• Include the email address connected to your Sociale Strategist account
• List any specific information or connected platforms you want removed

Send the request to melanie@socialemediacreators.com.

Cancelling a paid subscription does not automatically delete your account or stored information. A separate deletion request is required.

You can disconnect a connected social platform at any time from:

• Sociale Strategist account settings
• The platform's own settings (Meta Business settings, Facebook settings, Instagram settings, LinkedIn settings, TikTok settings, etc.)

Disconnecting a platform:

• Revokes Sociale Strategist's access to that platform
• Stops new analytics, publishing and content management for that account
• Does not automatically delete data Sociale Strategist has already stored

To remove already-stored platform data, include the disconnected platform in your deletion request.

For Facebook and Instagram connections made through Meta:

• Disconnecting your Facebook or Instagram account revokes Sociale Strategist's access tokens
• Sociale Strategist does not receive or store your Facebook or Instagram password
• When you request deletion, Sociale Strategist removes the Facebook and Instagram information it has stored, subject to legal retention requirements
• You may also manage connected apps from Meta Business settings

Meta may retain its own copy of your information according to Meta\'s policies. Sociale Strategist cannot delete information held by Meta.

For platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and X:

• Disconnecting the account revokes Sociale Strategist's access
• Stored information is removed when you include the platform in a deletion request
• Each platform manages its own data according to its own policies

Some information may be retained temporarily or as required by law for:

• Security and fraud prevention
• Billing and accounting records
• Legal obligations and disputes
• Backups and security logs

Retained information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary and is protected according to the Privacy Policy.

Deletion requests are handled as follows:

• You will receive a confirmation reply within a reasonable timeframe
• Account and content deletion is completed after identity verification
• Some information may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period before permanent removal
